Shoutbox Emoji removal

Hi

Can anyone tell me how to remove or disable the shoutbox Emojies option?
Mainly because they are useless

I am having a problem with emojies too.  They seemed to work at first, and then suddenly stopped.  I wonder whether or not everyone is having this problem.

I collected a bit more data on the problem.  I have a dual-boot system. the emojies work fine in the Windows environment, but they don't work for me at all when I am running ubuntu linux.

Mine seem to work but only in Black & White
but I have now found how to get rid of the option by removing the Emoji picker from plugins

I just verified your issue on my ubuntu 14.04  and followed the guide in the link and it fixed it.
