Shoutbox and Smiles

I noticed that when a user uses the :) or other keyboard combo's to generate a smile, nothing happens.  I have searched this board and saw a link to download the solution but that download did not work.

Is there another remedy to this challenge?

will be nice to display the smiles icons on the shout box so member now you can add smiles on the shout boxwhen they click any smile will be add the to the shout box

I can confirm, this appears to be a bug. I recall this working in previous versions. Someone with Premium should report this.

The smiles need to be show on the shout box so members know yo ucan use smiles on the shout box many people don't know how to use the codes to display the smiles or happy faces will be nice is some one can  add this on the ticcket system and I want to say

This was reported a couple of times and fixed.

Apparently they moved the repository though so I have no idea where to find the fixed file that the thread above refers to.

I do know it works - I applied it and it fixed the smileys.

Why. Whats wrong with the current shoutbox?

Well the current shout box is nice and clean I don't have no problem with the look is ncie and beautiful

but the only problem how the members know they can send smiles on the shout box  No non othey don't know that many people know how to use the smile codes but some people they don't know the code for sending smiles

Will be nice to show all the smiles on the shout box and they will know you can send sliles to the shout box easy and simple you click one smiles and the smile is automaty add to the shout box with your quick messages
