Simple Messenger no more?

Correct me if I am wrong, but didnt previous 7 betas have the simple messenger in the bottom member menu? I have the module installed, but am not seeing that option down there anymore?????

Oh ok, so you have to go to there profile, or figure out to click on the little yellow circle to type in a chat. Cant there be something right when you click on the friends and the only friend s come up that has the chat?

Kind of annoying especially when you click on the yellow icon and have to scroll down to even see the Chat option.
