Simple question, how do I add friends in Dolphin

Hi Guys!

I noticed that there's a "my friends" link in my profile which gives me an idea that I can add friends by viewing other profiles. Been searching for this "add this person as your friend" type of field in Builders but I cant. So how do I do it?

Have you built a test site yet?  That will be in the actions menu - where ever you put it.

You have to be logged in, and viewing someones profile.  It is in the same place where you send a private message.

I think Im screwed..I don't see the option to send a private message...only a comment.

Go to the page builder for the profiles page.  Is there a block called "actions" there?  If not, drag it into the active area.

i think thats the problem..i don't see "actions" block there? Is this a paid mod? What I've got is ad free dolphin and nothing else? Maybe I need to pay a mod to display this "add this member as a friend" functionality?

No, not a paid mod - comes with all versions of Dolphin.  To clarify, look at the page builder page for "profile" - are you saying you don't see a block called "actions" anywhere on that page?  Usually it will be in the active area in the upper left, but it could have been dragged down to the inactive area- or I am wondering if you have somehow deleted it?  Look again, and tell me if you missed it.

Within your Admin Panel check Settings - Membership level... Check allowed actions for each membership level... maybe...

By default Add Friends is called Befriend in Dolphin. 

@ caltrade : Yup its not in the page builder for "profile" either. See screenshot at http://yabangpinoythecommunity.com/bugs/profile.jpg  there are fields for Friends and Mutual Friends but still, I don't see any option in the profile page to enable me to add that person as a friend.

I'm still searching if I could ahve manually deleted it but I double since I never saw that field in the first place :(

Those are the only blocks available in my version of Dolphin (I got the latest as far as I know, downloaded it 2 weeks ago).

If you are logged into your dolphin site as an admin, you will not see any action buttons on any members pages.  Only a member will be able to see the actions block.  If you log into your dolphin site as a member, then go to any members page, you will see the list of actions.
