Site Crashed! Please Help....

Hi,

I can't open my site! I get the following error message in the browser:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/xxxxx/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolDb.php on line 372

Below this message there is written as "Database querry error" in a red box.

I got a series of "Database error in <SiteName>" emails and after that a cron message as shown below:

Database access error. Description: Table './database-name/RayVideoFiles' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

What is going on there? Please help me to restore my site.

Make sure that you have a backup of you database first. Then via cPanel access your database and open the RayVideoFiles table. Click the Operations tab at the top. Scroll to the bottom and click Repair Table under the "Table Maintenance" area.

See if that helps. (If thats the only table having problems)

Hi Chris,

Database backup via cpanel? I downloaded a data base backup through cpanel and it has only 1KB of size!

I cant find the Repair table option there. Please see the image below:

OK, I was thinking (hoping) you already had a backup. If you are not backing up your site regularly, you are just asking for trouble. So here is a easy way to do a backup of your database.

Login to cPanel. You should see a icon there called backup wizard. Click that, then click backup -->

On the right you should see "Select Partial Backup" and under that click MySQL Databases

On the next screen, you will see your databases listed there. Click the one for your site to download a backup.

Once that is finished, return to the cPanel homepage. Click MyPhpAdmin. Click the database for your site.

On the left side look for the table RayVideoFiles and click it.

Then click the operations tab at the top, then scroll to the bottom where you SHOULD see the repair table option.

Hi Chris,

I did the backup in the same way as you mentioned. But the size of downloaded SQL file is just 1KB.

There is NO option of Table Repair. I can see the table repair option in all other tables except this!

Hi Chris,

My host repaired the table for me. Now I can see the repair table option there as well. Site is up and running.

Thank you for the help.
