Site Keeps Getting Messed Up

The first time I changed something in the admin that messed up the tempate/front end was when I clicked under Cache: Clean all

It threw my template all out of whack. I had my host restore the back-up from 3 days prior and all was well except the Boonex ads appeared again. I went in the administration and noticed my license was already in place so I deleted it and then was going to re-input it and it again made the front end look crazy, like a missing template, no css, etc.

I have restored my site for the 2nd time and I am scared to do anything in the back-end. Please advise why changes like that to the admin would mess up the front end and how I can prevent it in the future.

I just restored it again and made a simple change in the admin, uploaded a new logo and BAM...the site was messed up again. I took a deep breath and went to admin>settings>advanced>template and checked to enable HTML cache and then my site was back up!

It seems like my site is unstable and I am extremely nervous about making changes in the admin now. Could I have some permissions wrong or settings incorrect?

sounds like somethins not right are u sure u have all the requirements set up?
