Site News Section

Not a huge deal but it's bugging me. When I create some site news the link comes out as:

mydomain.com/news/-title-of-site-news-here-

Why are there dashes at the beginning and end of the link?

Most likely, you are writing in a html box, in which case you will need to click on the HTML icon, above the smily face after you go back into your admin panel/page builder and type something like this:

<a href="http://mydomain.com/index/faq.php">Site News</a>, click save then save updates.

Hi. The title of my news becomes the link with the dashes and there is no html link for that. Just for the content boxes is where the html icon is.
