When I check my Google webmaster tool there are a number of errors in the sitemap generated by the sitemap tool in 7.3.2 (Please see attached image)
Does anyone have a solution to this?

Just make robot.txt upload it in your public_html Unlock Your Future |
Sitemap dead for me as well after the most recent dolphin upgrade... |
The sitemap has not been touched in the upgrade? What files are failing in the sitemap? To find that out in google under your sitemap. Click on the error link..
The sitemap has nothing to do with robot.txt file. I had more problems with google when I did more then this with the robot.txt file:
User-Agent: *
And still the above code has nothing to do with a failed sitemap. |
Just make robot.txt upload it in your public_html If you use Disallow: /cache_public/ Then how is google going to read the sitemap? Where do you thing the sitemap is listed? |
Sitemap files are generated in the /cache_public/ folder. When the upgrade is completed you are asked to clean up this folder. Sitemap should be generated again, but if Google tries to check your sitemap, then files maybe missing. I think it's better regenerate sitemap manually if /cache_public/ folder was cleared.
