Sounds Module - Installed, but problems uploading

I could not find this problem being discussed in the forum at all, so it just may be my setup.

First trying the Flash version, Once the file is uploaded, there is an error and the flash uploader reports "Upload Error: 404"

Then going on to the Regular version file uploads and takes me to the next segment to edit the details about the file. Once that is edited, the time length on the file states a time of 00:00

After doing a little more looking around , I see the video messenger is also not functioning.

Doing a little reading up, I see there is a "Ray Media Server:" which needs to be running both of these applications.

One would assume is would be setup during installation, but I am guessing now it is not, and see some, what looks an like, older setup help page:

I see part of the problem now.

It was disabled by default in the FlashApps section. I enabled everything and sound is now working.

However, video messenger is still not functioning as expected. While there is more showing up in the popup window, it continues to show "Connecting"

Looking in FlashApps section I see there is a setup for Ray Media Server. The IP was 0.0.0.0 so I canged it to  the domain (not enough space permitted), the IP address of server, 10.10.10.10, and "localhost." All were returned with Can'tt Connect to RMS.

Now what?

Ray Media Server is a modified version of the Red5 media server. It has to be installed on your server for the following to work:

Video chat

Video messenger

Video comments

It isn't part of the install process so if you're on a vps or dedicated server you have to install it yourself and then configure the flash admin with the correct IP and Port. If your on shared hosting you have to either use a host that includes it or pay someone else to use theirs. Either way they have to add your domain to the allowed connection list. Then setup the IP and port in the flash admin.
