Sounds Question

Very silly question, I know, but where do I upload sounds? I can't find anywhere that lets you upload it.

Also does it require crons to be set up or does it work like the previous version of dolphin?

Its part of the data migrataion but even though it says all sounds are transferred there is a zero in the brackets indicating nothing has transferred.

Hi there, I'm sorry I wasn't very clear I have migrated all sounds from 6.1.6 (manually by opening the cron.php file myself). All the sounds have transferred successfully, now how do I upload sounds on D7?

To upload sound...

Login first, then click Sound -> Sound Albums

There you can see available albums. Click an album. Then you can see the "Add Sounds" button to upload sounds.

You can upload music/sound only to an album. That's why you can't see the add menu outside of that.

Hi there, thanks for the reply, I worked it out eventually. I have an error,  the file wont upload on the regular uploader, the circle just keeps spinning. As for the flash the bar goes to instantly and doesn't upload either.

Any help?

Check your PHP settings and make sure you have:

allow_url_fopen  On

You can view this in Admin Panel>Tools>Host Tools> then click Phpinfo (top right)

**If it is not on, add it in the php.ini file located in the root of your dolphin install. If you dont have a php.ini file, create one using notepad and add allow_url_fopen= On  sabve it and upload it to the root.

i get the error file not found, i copied my d6 php.ini file into my d7 directory

I dont have any error. I can upload files. But why my progress bar goes to 100% instantly when you lick upload? Everybody has the same issue? Please help.
