Special Page Blocks

Two questions:

1.  I added two custom fields in profiles, and would like them in the 'Quick Profile' search.  How do I modify those blocks?

2.  I turned off date of birth and other items for profiles, but they still show in 'Edit Profile'.  How do i get rid of them?

Found the 'Quick Search' block, but still having problems with the profile.

seems nobody wants to help this one... having same problem

go here and administration/fields.php

and look in the box header you can edit the edit form from there.
