Splogger has made my site useless

My  LonelyBluePlanet.com and entire account was suspended by JoomByte because an automated splogger was creating new accounts and blogs every few minutes.  Cannot ban or block as suggested by JoomByte because the automated splogger is getting a different country IP and e-mail address every time.

Had to plead with Joombyte to turn the cPanel access and site back on.

Joombytes solution was to remove the serviceblogindexpage. Which has rendered my site completely unusable.

Anyone had any experience with this before ?   Thanks.

If the same spammer is using new IP etc each time, then you will have to add another level of security into the sign up process.

Set your site to email verification for new signups, or manual verification.

Also, you can set blogs so that they need to be verified first. This though will only stop them being seen by others, it will not stop them being posted...

Hopefully in D8 there will be more controls over registration verification.
