Still the DOM/XML and XSLT error message...

This seems to be THE most frequently mentioned problem with installing Dolphin if you do some Googling.

And there is NO real support or tech info for how to solve it, other than "you should recompile PHP blah blah blah..."

My hosting provider says everything is well set up for these requirements AND my PhpInfo() also shows this.

Still, I cannot install the Orca Forums on D7 B6...

My guess is that A LOT of people are giving up trying to install Dolphin due to this vague issue.

domxml

DOM/XML enabled
DOM/XML API Version 20020815
libxml Version 20616
HTML Support enabled
XPath Support enabled
XPointer Support enabled
DOM/XSLT enabled
libxslt Version 1.1.11
libxslt compiled against libxml Version 2.6.16
DOM/EXSLT enabled
libexslt Version 1.1.11

Does anyone have a set of guidelines, explanations, (better) requirements?

Otherwise I will be another one skipping Dolphin... :-(

My search in server logfiles and Google suggest that my webserver is missing the Sablotron XSLT processor...

libsalot.so.0

I contacted my provider about this.

If someone at BoonEx (Support) already were familiar with this error condition, it would have been nice if it were documented here... :P

and then we found that you also need to have libjs.so.1 installed...

Finally got the forum installed correctly :-)

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
