Store

Hi all - I have been searching the forums for days, looking for a solution for the store, I've tinkered about with it from some of the settings I have seen listed in the forums, but I still can't get a price to show anywhere.

I have the payment module all set up correctly as far as I can see, products add fine to the store, just no price or buy now button appears...

Any advice would be well appreciated!

Cheers!

This question has been asked several times with really no answer.  I believe the store was intended for "downloadable"  online sales (like apps, mods and files).

If you click "Add Product", scroll down and you'll see "Product's Files".  There, you'll see a place to input a price.  What I've done is made PDF information sheets about the products and uploaded.  When someone orders something, they pay for it, be able to download the PDF informational sheet and I follow up with an email receipt and shipping info.

That's the only thing I could think of until someone figures out how to price merchandise with this store.

thanks for the reply aeu...

I had been readin some other posts and had been putting prices in etc, had the payment mod set up properly but if its only for digital products then its no good :( I wanted to let my members sell things via the site but I am going to uninstall the store until its either more developed or someone knows how it actually works... :-(

Thanks again

If you're looking for something for your members to sell things, then set up your "Ads" Module.  That's what it's for.  You can basically list and sell anything there.  The "Store" is for admin items.

Thanks for the info - the ads page wasn't really how I wanted to allow members to sell thins, the way I understood the store to work was a member chould go to the dashboard, then to payments and set up their own papal direct payment - then add products to the store and get paid instantly...have probably read that wrong somewhere, but have been reading so many forums on here lately lol my eyes are starting to play tricks lol.

Thanks again for the help though!
