Tags Box on homepage - no method to remove spam

The Tags box on the home page has been spammed to death. I cannot find any method to remove all the tags, or even offending ones beside just removing the box from the homepage altogether.

What do to?

I believe Deanos Tools has a function to clean up those tag lists. I personally would never set that block on the front page anyway (but that's just me)
