Templates D6.1.6 to D7 How...

I'm wondering how to convert a D6.1.6 template to work with D7 and how complicated that process may be???

Can a D6.1.6 template be modified to D7 use or is it too radical a chnage to attempt??

I am no expert but from my experience, you will need to do it manually bit by bit as I am doing. Some of the stuff is the same, but not nearly enough to make it easy. Im just rebuilding my template form the ground up.

DosDawg has reportedly had some luck converting a Dolphin 6.1.4/6 template to Dolphin 7.0, but he has told me it is a difficult process. Your best bet would be to try and contact him for any information on the matter (but don't tell him I sent you).

Cogzidel is upgrading their templates to D7 and then I will just have to make my customizations rather than convert a whole template.  Looks like I got lucky on the timing...
