Templates in Dolphin 6.1.6

How do you change the templates in Dolphin 6.1.6?

I'm trying to follow the "Read Me" instructions I got with the zipped template, which say:

Go to Admin Panel->

Settings->

Advanced Settings->

and aparently I should be able to change it right there- but no luck?

I can see a place to allow members to change templates & one line that simply says "Template" but the only thing in the field on that particular line is 'UNI'

There's no uploading area present or anything changeable?

Has anyone else has this issue/ Know how to fix it?

Thnx

Pam

Step 1:  Log into your server via FTP Client

Step 2:  Upload the files that are in the Zip Folder to your templates/ directory

Step 3:  Log into your Admin Panel

Step 4:  Go to  http://yoursite.com/admin/global_settings.php?cat=1&  (that would be Admin -> Settings -> Advanced Settings)

Step 5:  You'll see "Uni" in a drop down box, click on that box and it will show also the template you just uploaded.  Select it.

Step 6:  Hit the 1st Save Button on the page and save it.  The template is now loaded.

Oh This is great news thnx so much mydatery!!!

Now all I have to do is find out where my Hosting Providers Installed my  Dolphin?

I went in to my server and looked for any sign of it or the templates/directory you mentioned, and can't see a thing?

If they installed it off my server- which it looks like they may have done, than I guess I'm SOL- huh?

Or do my own fresh install I guess?

Is it difficult to install Dolphin yourself?

I'm not very experienced with coding and such

Thnx Again for your help

Take your database login & password and go in via FTP

Look for public_html/

Click on it, you should see your Dolphin files there

aff

backup

cache

....

I think you get the point.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
