Title VS Url

Hi, 

Just to check if i upload a photo or video and have the title as Me And My Dog, the url will have Me-And-My-Dog. But when i edited the title to Me And My Cat, the url still remain as Me-And-My-Dog. If the site grows and lots of members editing this and that, the whole site url will be so different with the actual title...

For the member who change their username, the url will change as the changes goes....why not other modules like videos. photos, sounds and the rest???

Anyone kindly help me in this issue??? I feel that it is very important for my site...

I believe they did this for SEO reasons. If the URLs of your music, movies and photos keep changing after they have been indexed by the search engines that would cause a lot of 404 errors which isn't good for your ranking plus it doesn't look professional when someone clicks a link and gets a file not found error.

Thanks for you reply.....As for album too....if i create as English Songs and edit as Japanese Songs and the url will remain as English-Songs....

I think the best is like youtube....the url dont use the title.....it uses mix numbers & letters, and i think this way is more pro. No matter how many times the members edit, the url still remain as the same mix numbers & letters. Thats why alot of big media site all using mix numbers & letters. They know that members will quite editing...so this will never affect their seo....hahaha

Is there a way boonex team???
