Tone or Signal on New IM?

Is it possible to add a tone (like a doorbell sound) when a new IM is received? This would be a great thing to better alert people when someone is trying to IM them and they may have another window open, walked away from their computer for a second, etc. Has anyone done this with Dolphin/Ray?

Try this:

Go to your admin panel and open 'Plugins' - 'Ray Suite'.

In new Window 'Ray Suite' click on 'A/V Chat' and then on 'Settings'.

You will see the 'Use sounds' option. Enable it!

Do the same for Messenger.

Hope it will solve your problem..

Thank you Misha. Unfortunately, I checked my settings and sound was activated, but still no tone is sounded on the IM or chat events.

This one would be great to figure out.  I have members sending me an IM and I never know.  Does the IM come with the ability to play sounds?

I have noticed that the sounds work fine in the built-in chat room.  However, the sounds do not work in the IM windows.  Hopefully, this will be addressed by someone with more experience at programming than I possess :)
