Trying to register widgets - Says "Undefined"

I am trying to register my widgets but I keep getting a message "UNDEFINED" when I enter the license number. A couple registered OK but now they are not working either. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Thanks.

I am having the same problem and I own the SmartPro version which has been working fine for weeks.  My hosting company, Joombyte, told me that the widgets are tied to the Boonex licensing server and when their server goes down then so do all of my widgets!  I haven't been in touch with Boonex support yet, but this really sux and I wouldn't have purchased the product if I new my functionality was dependant on their servers being up.

Of course, I still need to confirm this is true, but it appears to be the case.  Also, I am shocked that I have not seen a post on here from Boonex alerting us to the issue.  And as a SmartPro user, I would have expected an e-mail in my inbox with a description of the issue and an estimated resolution time.  I am worried about the lack of professionalism here.

"If the Boonex licensing server goes down then so do all of my widgets" ??

This worries me, it is not something I can complain about because I am using Dolphin Free. BUT if I had (or were going to buy) paid for it I would insist that the program be free of any and all third party licensing servers period.

Smartpro is not cheap and to have your investment tied to a 3rd party server is not on.

Come on Boonex this (manufactured) problem should not exist, be fair!

Quick update. It appears to be working now.  My hosting service is knowledgeable about Boonex, so I believe them when they say it is tied to their servers.  I had to re-register all widgets with my license key again. This had not been working earlier, but I just tried again and it finally worked.   To me this indicates some link to their server and that server was probably down.

I would like to have someone from Boonex post here to confirm.  I am not happy that a critical part of my business can go down because it relies on a Boonex server being up.  At the very least I would expect some redundancy on the Boonex side to protect from outages.

also, any dolphin you use , you are tied to boonex....to check licence....so I think if they are down so is your site, doesnt matter it you use add free or free boonex....

OR, there is an extra file which you need to remove from ray folder, I forgot the name, search for it here or expertzzz.com ....

I can also confirm the Flash 10 issue.  This happened tp me again today. After reading your replies I realized that I had installed the new Adobe suite this week which upgraded my Flash to version 10.  I then realized that the computer I was using when the issue magically went away earlier had Flash 9 installed.  I went over to that compter and was able to update the registration keys again.

It seems when you open the Ray Admin in Flash 10 it automatically unregisters all of your plugins.  You can then reregister if you open in Flash 9.

Thanks for the replies everyone.  At least I now understand the issue and I will have to make sure that I do not upgrade at least one PC to Flash 10 before this gets fixed.

yet you are not upgrade to flash 10, but how about your user they already upgrade their computer to flash 10.  this mean you will lost your user if they can't play audio or video at your web site.  they don't know about this problem so they may think your site not a professional.

I got the same problem today, becuase my computer was renew window and install flash 10 at adobe website.

thanks.

users won't get any problems with 10-th Flash. Problems only with registration of licenses.

Hi,

yes there is a problem with the users too. the users wich installed flash 10 can not upload music and videos anymore. i tried it with 3 users. after they installed the old flash 9 version then it worked. but i can not expect from every user who want to upload something that he install the old flash version. 2 other users canceled their membership because of this problem with explenation that this is all too much an too heavy to install old stuff.

Please has anybody an idea how the problem can be fixed without installing the old flash player....

Thanx

Has anyone come up with a solution for this since most of the users using my boonex site are all using flash 10?

this is kinda bad bc my site's video chat has been down for months bc of this bug.
