Ultimate Article by Modzzz

Re your ultimate Articles mod.

Can you choose which membership level a given article can be viewed/added by?

I hope to have articles on the front page viewable by anyone but certain articles restricted to a given membership level. Primarily on a different 'Page'.

Stuart

Ps. I tried to email this to you but it would not 'Send'

Presently, Admin can determine who can view or add Articles but this is not on a per article basis. However, this functionality could be added.

This additional functionality is a deal breaker!!

The mod is now updated to facilitate restricting viewing access per Article.

When you post an article (admin or member) can they change the title to whatever as opposed to having 'Articles' as the title?

I am not clear as to which Title you are referring to. The add form has a Title field that you can input anything you want. The Page Title will inherit this Article Title.

H, Modzzz:

I've installed this module, how can I updated to have this new added function?

Thanks.

Hi Modzzz, I've just bought your Ultimate Articles mod. It tells me (having downloaded it) I need to buy your Ultimate Points mod before I can install. Whats that all about? At $US50 I do not need this points mod.

Can I install the Ultimate Articles mod or not??

Stuart

The Articles mod DOES NOT need the Points mod, there is no such instruction in the mod. There is however an OPTIONAL integration file that is included with the mod that tells you how to integrate it with the Points mod (only for those sites that also have the Points mod). I assume this is the instruction that you are referring to. If you do not have the Point mod, you do not need to be concerned with those integration instructions.

Hi, I tried adding a ' Categorie' to 'add articles' but the article does not show up. Use an existing Categorie, no problem. Plus, how can I edit the existing categories?

Public Articles on the home page. How can I make Random the default setting?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure what your problem is. Contact me via PM so I can take a look at your site. You can manage the Categories of all standard dolphin modules by going to Admin =>Settings =>Categories Setting

This can be changed in the Admin Settings for the mod. Please post any further queries on this mod in the support thread here
