Unable to add avatars and photos

If i try to upload any avater or any pictures i get the errors "error occured"  and "Set avatar failed".

And i dont have a clue where is the problem.

ive set the variables

If i go to the upload photo page i get the path http://www.xxxxx.com/modules/?r=photos/albums/my/add_objects/Frank21-s-photos/owner/Frank21

but the path modules/boonex/photos/albums doesnt exist.
