Unable to login using the password reseted on Forgot password link

After upgraded from 7.0.3 to 7.0.4 I have one issue as users are unable to login using the password reseted on Forgot password link.

I tried and have the same issue. Getting error as "Your user name or password was incorrect" even though I am entering the same password received on my email using the Forgot password link...

Any idea what is causing issue...

After looking more I found that Password reset for site Admin id's is working fine. But the password reset for site Member is not working...

Please suggest what is causing issue...

Hi there,

we he not updated yet, but some users complain of the same issue.

Some, I believe, are merely unable to copy/pasting it from the email received and are probably just writting it wrong.

Others are being afected by a change in mandatory fields we have done meantime, that is, when a new password is requested, the pofile is edited and saved, bur because they have registered before the new mandatory fields were implemented, we believe that the system is not able to save the new password and it gives an error...but this is justa a hunch...

OK, I figured out what is the issue.. the issue seems to be on the Anti Spam module...

I turned off the Enable DNS Block Lists and kept the Enable URI DNS Block Lists checked.

Now it is working fine.....

I have 7.0.4 and having the same kind of issue.

I tried to turn off all "Enable DNS Block Lists" and the "Enable URI DNS Block Lists"

And the problem remains.

 

I also tried to reset password and the email sent with new password doesn't work.

I tried my old password and it logged in.

 

In fact the "Forgot password" doesn't reset at all

 

Is someone knows how to fix this ?

Sorry it's working

 

The reset password only works when email is UNIQUE. 

 

I had the same email in 2 accounts and the reset password functions only for 1 unique email.

Yes it's basically that all your site's members should have unique emails

i don't have any members yet....just temp acct as test member. couldn't login this morning. password incorrect. tried over-riding from admin, still couldn't login. tried retrieve password twice...neither worked. after reading some posts here. disabled antispam (back to default), and logged in no problem (w/ most current reset password i was emailed). just confirming that it fixed my problem.

I am using dolphin 7.1.1 I still have the same issue on my site so If so I wonder what to do next because its frustrating my users
