Unable to upload pictures to Groups

I have installed Dolphin 7, and using the UNI template. What I have an issue with is the uploading a picture for the group. I am the creator of the group and the group settings allow for posting of all media by admins only. I decided to become a fan also, and still not working.  What happens is that I go into EDIT, and select ADD PHOTOS, and the upload photos page, but there is only a SUBMIT button with no field to upload any images or to browse.

Also where is the place to upload the group's picture/icon/avatar?

I know it has to be something very simple, so please someone give me a hand on this?

hey rich,

deselect the privacy options and see what that gets you. could be a bug, i have delved into the privacy settings enough to say. but i can say that i have seen them break other functions on the site.

as for the second part of your inquiry, that option is available when you create the group.

I have taken the privacy settings and added all to a DEFAULT status. The upload privacy settings are listed as fans... and still nothing comes up in the page when you click on ADD Photo. Just a SUBMIT button.

I have made sure that I was listed as a fan, and also listed as a member (JIC), but being the group creator... that was a no brainer.

All file and directory permissions are correct, and I have hit the brick wall. Where would the pictures/videos/sounds upload to? I cannot find and related directories, and wanted to make sure those were created and proper permissions applied.

As far as the option to upload a file for the groups picture/avatar, I checked on the ADD GROUP function to test creating a new group, and these are the only fields available....

TITLE, DESCRIPTION, COUNTRY, CITY, ZIP, TAGS, CATEGORIES,  and all the privacy settings.

Should I delete and re-upload and re-install???

It looks like user do not have permissions to post photos in your membership settings - it makes impossible to post photos in groups too.

Yes, and the WINNER of the GRAND PRIZE, a year's worth of FREE SUPPORT calls goes to AlexT!

You are right! I setup a new membership level and was unaware that the settings for the level did not include anything in groups.

All fixed and I can go grab a margarita!
