Unamused by the waiting game

I gotta tell ya after having waited so long for Dolphin 7 and having some key features I REALLY need not included in the last version I'm a tad bit miffed

especially since one of the features I need is already being utilized on Unity and that feature being a points system.  Both AntonLV and Modzzz on

Expertzzz have points mods and Modzzz has a Ulimate Referral mod.  These are 2 mods I absolutely need before my site launches.

PLEASE!!!  Do you think we can get these mods upgraded for Dolphin 7 ASAP you've got a customer ready and waiting to pay for these mods!

If any of you other developers can get this done it would be greatly appreciated!!

I also realize as I've been told before on another post that the points system will be included in Dolphin 7.1 but I'm sure it's going to be awhile before we see it and I seriously can't wait!

Remember dolphin is a starting point, you take it and build your site.  If you really need the mod you will have to have someone create it for your or update the mod for you.  You may find a developer here to do it for you or you can hire your own or bid the project out at scriptlance (there is elance too but I seriously hate them).

Why not contact Anton or Modzzz direct and just ask them to put this together for you instead of waiting until they get around to it.  Willing to bet it'd be alot faster than waiting.

Maurice I've been around for awhile on here and I am fully aware of how things work around here...boy do I know!

MyDatery I've done that and Anton says he's extremely busy and couldn't give me a time frame and Modzzz tells me it won't be until Feb/March before he has the mods available for Dolphin 7

There is no place on Unity now to post needed freelance work and I don't trust a heck of a lot of folks...I like to deal with the folks I have done business with before and I trust.

I'd suggest sticking with 6.1.x Wait a year for them to get the bugs worked out of 7 and for everyone to catch up on the mods.  I've learned this on other programs as well.
