Can you remove the .htaccess file from the upgrade folder prior to uploading to the server? There are none so blind as those that will not see. |
Yes if you are going to run the upgrade right away. https://www.deanbassett.com |
Many thanks Deano! There are none so blind as those that will not see. |
If you're referring to the file referenced as upgrade/.htaccess in the upgrade instructions: Step 2: Remove the upgrade/.htaccess file via FTP or SSH. Note that you may need to change your FTP client settings to show hidden files to see the .htaccess file in your FTP manager. Make sure that you removed .htaccess file from "upgrade" directory! Do not remove .htaccess file from Dolphin root folder, it will make almost all links on the site not working''' can someone explain where the upgrade/ directory is? The instructions refer to it in step 2 but it's not clear to me where this directory is found. While we're at it, is the 'Dolphin root folder' the folder public_html/? Thanks in advance! |
Looks like I downloaded & copied files from Dolphin-v.7.0.7.zip from http://www.boonex.com/paymentprovider/payment instead of Dolphin-Patch-v.7.0.7.zip from http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/7.0.6-7.0.7. Haven't run the upgrade script yet (there was no upgrade script to run). How screwed am I? Restore backup & install patch only option? |
well the good news is you are not the only one that has made that DipDock move.
i have read where that has happened about 20 times now.
