Upgrade from 7.04 to 7.06

I am on version 7.0.4. My site seems to function pretty well. I read through the chsnge logs from 4-6... Is there any really compelling reason to go from 4 to 6? I dont mind upgrading, but it seems it took awhile to get all the problems worked out and I don't really want to deal with a lot of problems again :) Any thoughts? Peer

Other than 80 bug fixes, and plugging some security holes, not much difference between the two versions.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

So are there any post 6 patches that need to be applied?

I don't really understand what you mean by this, but to upgrade to the latest version, you'll have to first upgrade to all versions in between your site's current version and the latest version. You can view upgrade instructions with patch downloads here: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/Dol7Upgrade

You should always keep your site up-to-date. It's not expected for you to upgrade immediately, but you should at least put in the effort to upgrade eventually.
