Upgrading from Dolphin 7.06 to 7.07

Hello Guys;

http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/7.0.6-7.0.7

I just upgraded to 7.07 but it still says I am using 7.06 version in my admin panel. I had no errors during my upgrade. Also i am trying to install the new Zipcode Search Module that comes with Dolphin7.07   But now its telling me that i do not have the correct dolphin version. I upgraded according to the directions in the link above.

Maybe I am doing something Wrong.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Steve

I'm guessing you didn't follow the manual instructions at the end of the upgrade. You need to change the build number in your /inc/header.inc.php file, clear the cache directories, and recompile both site and module languages.

OK.

I never saw those instructions. I remember reading that I need to follow some instruction at the end of the install but they never showed up.

Also during the upgrade the instructions say to  Remove the upgrade/.htaccess file via FTP.

There is no upgrade directory I even re downloaded and extracted a fresh Dolphin 7.07 although there is an install directory and that is where I deleted the .htaccess file and then afterwards I deleted the entire install directory and  the rate.php file

Thanks Nathan your help is very much appreciated.

The only reason why there wouldn't be an /upgrade/ directory is because you didn't apply the patch, which is what you should have done. Did you even run the upgrade script?

Yes I did run the upgrade script which is http://mysite.com/upgrade

thats where I installed everything.

A page appeared to do some simple thing and rerun it. Which I did. I do not remember what is was. it is 1:30am now so i am wiped out.

Any way i did what you just said to do in your previous message and that worked. My admin panel says 7.0.7

and I was able to install Zip Code Search from Boonex.

Everything is working great so far.

Thanks a million for your help and good night.

Alright. I got confused when you said the directory didn't exist. I'm glad everything is working now.

I am still having some problems after my upgrade. When I click on any profile or a dummy profile that I make I get these error messages in my Header panel:

I thought it was the modules call Global Localization and Profile Types Splitter Module.

I uninstalled and re install those mods and deleted my cache, recompile languages and still getting these errors in my header panel. Do you  think there is an easy fix or should I just blow out the whole thing and reinstall a clean fresh copy of Dolphin 7.0.7 and put in my modules.

This a new site so I do not have any members yet.

Try replacing /templates/base/scripts/BxBaseFunctions.php.

Thanks for responding so quickly.

I just replaced BxBaseFunctions.php. from a new download copy of Dolphin 7.0.7

Same issue is happening no changes.
