Uploading New Mods

I bought a mod about a month ago and had it installed it stop working and I asked the vendor to fix it but instead I'm told to reinstall it. I have no idea how to reinstall it. Could some give me easy baby steps on how to install a mod?

Reinstalling a module is never good advice and I am surprised a vendor would tell you to reinstall a module; did the vendor also tell you that you would lose the data associated with that module?

Better to investigate why a module that was working stopped working.  I doubt if the database tables is the issue since that is what uninstalling a module does.  The associated files of the module would not change by uninstalling and then installing the module.

Are you getting database errors with the module?

What is this module?  I probably should have asked that question at the beginning.

If the module is using JS code, then there could be a JS conflict.  You should look in the browser error console to see if there are any issues with JS being reported.

How would I do that?

It depends on the browser.  For FireFox, go to Tools, Web Developer, Browser Console, click on the JS tab.
