Urls in the Posts of timeline

Dear members,

Can you please tell me how i can allow url links in the post of a member in Timeline ?

I mean when a member writes a message and includes URL link its not clickable it shows it like a text

Or is there a way to merge the <<Write>> and <<Share a link >> option at once ?

are you using default timeline or 3rd party newsfeed from IBDW?

url link option => share a link {default timeline}

There has to be a way to incorporate a checker to see if what someone typed in is a URL or not, then grab the OG data from that site and insert it into the text.

The "Other" site does it (jab at Geekgirl  ha ha!).

Can an expert answer on that how to do that?????
