User Migration from DNN Database

Does anyone know a way to migrate 6000+ users from a DNN database to a Dolphin 7 install. I would like to move form the DNN platform to the and need a way to migrate these users and other data such as forums if possible but users are my main concern. Anyone?

Hello!

In any case - this deal is custom work. Usually need to compare structure of tables which are responsible in D7 (`Profiles`) and in current script. And then make migration queries.

Hi Leonid,

Thanks for the reply bro. Yeah I know it requires some custom queries and mapping the fileds to the new structure, but this should be a breeze for a real SQL guy. What would you think someone should charge for migrating all the users, forum posts, etc from the DNN db to the D7 db? I got a quote from a D7 host listed here to perform this task, but honestly I think it was a bit high. Do you, or anyone else here want to bid on this job?

U may use this link "http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/new_job" to post ur Job request. But be exact in task list - mention all part which should be converted from old DB to D7.

Thanks again bro, but I am just advanced level and do not have permission to post to that area, and I am surely not going to pay $10 or more a month for the right to post there. I have to say that the DNN community (Some, not all) are far more willing to help other DNN developers and they do not put restrictions on where you can post or make you pay to post in certain forums. I will just go to getafreelancer.com or speak to a few people to find someone interested in bidding on this job for me. Perhaps someone else will read this thread who is willing to bid on the job, but I will not hold my breath.

I appreciate you taking the time to try to answer my questions.

Best regards...
