Username with blank space

Hi - does anyone know how to make dolphin work with usernames that have blank spaces in it and permalinks? It's easy to get rid of demand for non space between names by editing check field for the field in admin>Field builder.

And it works fine when permalinks not activated, when profile url is profile ID number, but when using permalinks  "%20" is added in the space in the URL and thus the link doesn't work.

I need it to insert a dash (-) in url's just like system does automatically everywhere else (with blog post titles and events titles, photo and video titles, articles, news etc)

Example: Username 'Buddy H' is now 'mysite.com/buddy%20H' but I want it to be 'mysite.com/buddy-H' while still displaying as 'Buddy H' on actual site.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Dorit

This was discussed a few months back, and it had issues that accompanied it.  Here's the thread that deals with it and you can make your own decision as to whether you want to try it our or not.  Keep in mind, many have had issues with this and it is not endorsed as a safe item yet within Dolphin 6.1.4

Thanks - tried to follow it and managed to get 1 space. However in url still a '%20' is added in space instead of a dash '-'.

Also I'd like to have more than 1 space available...
