Users getting deactivated

Hi,

i am using the promotional membership without payment. my site is totally free social networking site. but sometime few users automatically got deactivate. please help

I don't suppose you didn't edit the length of the promotional membership from administration, settings, membership levels, did you?

The promotional membership level is meant to be used as a trial for new members to be able to sample what they can have if they purchase the appropriate membership level. It's not meant to be used as a non-expiring membership level, as that is what the standard membership level is for.

i made it unlimited for all users. all the membership level is free so whether i have to keep promotional membership on or not

If you want your site free, and if is not difference betwen promotional membership and standard, my opion is to set the standard membership to be able to do every you want, and to disable the promotional membership.

Just a suggestion...

That sounds great, but havent been able to disable promotional, standard or nonmembers from the list. only the membership levels that i set u can be diabled. Is there a way to do that or do i have something messed up again?

@sandalsonly  : To disable promotional membership just go : administration>setting>membership levels  and uncheck the box : " Enable promotional membership "

@vikramsra : the standar membership never expire... so you resolve your problem. To enable all the options just click on  " promotion " level and check all the box. If for something you whant add some time limit just click on the name of the option and set what you want...  Or if you want to use the promotion lelvel just set the " Number of days for promotional membership "
