VIDEO EMBED NOT WORKING

I am using Dolphin 7.03 but the video embed using You Tube links does not seem to work...is this just me or dopes anyone else have this problem and is there a fix...or am I not doing something right?

there were some others having issues about three days ago, but i think they all got it squared away.

not here. I guess most are waiting for the new update and hope it will work then.

You can try and make sure that you have your cron jobs set up properly in your cpanel. Im proper setup of cron jobs can caouse your videos not to process.

the crons are set correctly, it started not to work since 7.02 version. I can upload videos and they all process, but I can't embed youtube.

What are the various options for cron jobs?

what exactly do you face when you attempt to embed a youtube video?

I can press the submit, after about 3 seconds it shows done but the processing indicator still runs.

are you still facing this issue?

Make sure when you in youtube that it's not a Vevo video.

why I need to add youtube videos in my site so other people get pay for advertising on videos and my members watch the video and they  click youtube ads

I am with you all the way. I think its time for dolphin or mods developer to make it where you can just put the embedded code form any video into the wall.

I agree will be nice you can insert your google ads code so the ads can be display in the videos so you get pay and no posting videos in your site like youtube and youtube get pay that's why youtube have a lot of money becuase people are stupid posting youtube with ads and they get pay and you don't get nothing you thing posting video in your site from youtube will bring traffic to your site hell nope man never you making youtube more rich is time for you to make money like these ripers

because I make videos with my sites watermark on the video only for that and I have the rights for these videos and the licensed

but when people add videos from youtube they don't say nothing or Thank's for adding youtube videos in your site

I wouldn't expect YouTube to suspend your account solely because of that. Now, if you kept uploading videos with copyrighted content (such as music videos, clips with copyrighted music, etc.), that could get you in trouble.

No matter what any one says the You Tube embed is crap. I have to strip some parts of the code. and some pieces also to get it to work and well my members will not know to do that.  Don't know why they have it in the  script, and don't let anyone tell you there is nothing wrong with it, cause there is.

There is always other choices you can do. I know its not free but you can get this to add more video site options other than YouTube for embedding videos:

I dont personally use it, but seem to be an option.

If Rayz would remove the porn site from the list in that mod I might think of buying it, but not like it is now.
