ok here goes, i need a function my site which can set the members profiles to verified, this needs to be done by both another member and admin, if admin can set it from the admin pannel then that would be great, and for the other member to be able to click a link on another members profile and then they can choose if they want to verify that member, with the verify showing on that members profile for all to see
so in short in need members and admin to be able to verify other members as genuine, and need for the verify to show on the members profile, also if it could have a section where the member can add a little detail on how they know that person is genuine, ie via webcan, over phone, on a meet etc???
i have tried and tried to do this myself but im affraid im usless :s

thanks hd4real that was partly what i was looking for also, but i want a way for other members of the site to be able to verify other members as genuine etc, not just the ability for the admin to verify them. You Creature!! |
Maybe the module developer can add that extra feature for you, if you ask. |

You could approach it from a two ways....
1. use the mod as suggest by hd (so members can be photo verified)
2. use the comments section on user profiles for members to leave verification comments or you could look at http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Testimonials which I am sure modzz can tweak if you ask him.

could the testimonial mod be thinned out slightly, so instead of having 3 boxes, only have the 1 box along with a customizable drop down box (so people can put their own options in the drop down box)
Once the verification has been done by a user, could the profile owner have options to either hide, show or delete the verification.

Anyone got any ideas how i could do this without having to buy a mod? just a simple function, some way of members being able to leave a cmment saying that meber is verified and to show this on that persons profile, i knowtheycould just wrie this on the wall, but anyone can do this, andit doesnt prove that member is 'real' or 'genuine'
