Video uploads require a cron job set to process. Were you also receiving the daily periodic emails from Dolphin each day? The only reason I can think of is that the cron job wasn't running for some reason.

The cron Job is set up correctly and i receive periodic report as well as info when i upload video but it is so slow to upload a small tiny video. Took about 3mn to 4mn .

Really broken layout. I'll edit that out in a second.

How long do the videos take to process? Is this a shared or VPS/dedicated server? What are the PHP settings for memory_limit and max_execution_time? Also, what's the size of these files, and is the HTML5 module installed?

Video upload and processing works fine on my system.  However, the other day I uploaded a large video and it set in processing for a long time and then failed.  I contribute to perhaps the large size but I have yet to attempt it again.  I wonder about the very outdated version of ffmpeg that ships with Dolphin so I asked about ffmpeg in 7.2.  Alex responded and said they would update ffmpeg in the 7.2 release and that might help some of the video processing we are seeing.  I might grab a recent build of ffmpeg from the official site and test on the test site but for now, most won't have the ability to do that.

It's a shared host with arvixe , and memory_limit = 536870912. and max_execution_time Core 600 and the file zise uploaded is 25.0MB mwv.

Yes HTML5 module is installed as well

Thanks
