Video Upload STILL! Anyone figure this out yet?

I'm still having issues uploading larger files.  Php.ini worked great on D6...now I just can't seem to get this to work for D7.

I have the cron job going great...but when I try to load a large video, it still isn't going thru...I either get a message saying Server (IO) error, or it will go thru the whole motion, says complete...but nothing has been converted.

Can someone tell me where they placed their php.ini file on D7, I would greatly appreciate it...maybe i'm just placing it in the wrong directory.  Directly in the root isn't working.

Thank you!

Carol

Ok, i had to reinstall the files...it's working now (plus the hosting service banned by IP address-oh well)...i think i'm going to give this a break for a few days before attempting to add a php.ini again...maybe i'll have one of those a-ha insights if I just give it a rest for a few.

Loungelol, did you get the cron working?

If you dont mind me asking  who is your host and why did they ban your ip address?

You wouldn't believe what happen to me lol I wanted to delete a file and I ended up deleting half my site so I had to reinstall everything... I'm new to this and kinda self teaching myself as I go along. lol Everything happens for a reason because now I got my videos uploading butttttttttt I can't watch them yet. I'm going to give it some time and see...

Other than that I haven't been able to get the chat to work.

Did you install RMS? What is the differance between the RMS program and the one that downloads with Dolphin? Should I give the RMS a shot? I was trying earlier and my goodness what a mission. :O) Hey by the way thanks

Talk to you soon take care Carolhern

I think I am having this same issue.

I can upload small videos but anything around 5 or 10 megs won't go thru.

And my php.ini is set high.

Hey there!  I figured out how to set the cron job although I still don't know what it is. lol  I've set up the RMS in the admin panel using the info Arvixe gave me.  I've changed the permissions as members have mentioned throughout here but still no video.  I'm at a loss and like you carol I'm seriously thinking I should just step away from my computer till I can calm down enough to attempt to figure this out yet again.  lol  I'm not a programmer either and although I already have free web cam chat with audio on my site, I'd like to try this out too.  I can't get the video chat to work or any other flash apps even though all settings are done.  The cron job thing was tricky to figure out but I got mine to work.  yeahhhhhh  I hope someone can figure this out cause I've checked the entire forum and the net and can't find a straight easy to understand explanation how to do this all.  I think I'll take screenshots as I do everything step by step and post it in here so everyone else who needs help can find it.  I've done it for the permissions and cron jobs so far.  Go me. lol  Have an awesome day. xxx  Check out my site to see the issue I'm having playing any vids.  Stays at 0:00.  http://www.iambewytched.com/dolph
