Video problems

Hi we are having some problems with uploading videos.
Basically the video is uploaded in the folder  flash / modules / video / files
but appears a file without extension eg 50.
Videos uploaded remain pending and  we can't approve it. I tried to approve them on the database and add the extension .Flv to the files, and only then the video work.
Because this feature does not start automatically, is a problem of cron? Or can depend on the file ffmpeg.exe? Ffmpeg.exe works on 64bit linux hosting?

Many thanks

Sounds like a cron issue. How is your cron job set up?

try this...

Upload a video and wait for it to stall in pending

Then log in to shell, cd to you periodic directory

(E.G cd /home/vhosts/????????.com/httpdocs/periodic)

Then enter /usr/bin/php -q cron.php at the command prompt.

If the stalled videos then finish you've defo got a cron problem.

Did you find the solution, because I have the exact same problem.  Videos are all "pending" and there's no way to approve them.  I re-did the cron command as stated, but to no avail.

Thanks,

Michele
