Video with no rms on D7

Ok, I know it is here somewhere, I am looking for the directions to have vids without rms on D7, I am not worried about streaming or video chat, just upload vids so other members can see them.  I have searched but I can not find it anywhere, please someone post the link to the thread that shows how to do this. I know all the new stuff would be cool, but until I either win the lotto or have about 100 ads bringing money in, I am not paying that much for a server, I am seeing prices more than I pay for my Caddy. Please help me

RMS is only needed for if you want to have video chat, audio chat and video recording and Board.

So you can upload videos to play on your site.

I know this, but for some reason I get errors, I can't remember where I need to go to change the setup around to make it work, It uploads then says not found, or something like that.  I saw one thread in here that had the correct way to set up your server, but I cannot find that anywhere, please help

Thank you for that, I have done all that, and unfortunatly still get error, it uploads, but then and upload error.

All my problems with video processing errors were, the cron job, and file permission settings.

Cron job was the first thing I set up even before starting the install...this corrected my previous video problems...
