View Profile limit capping on own profile

I need help with a particular issue with my site. Users are getting annoyed about the view profile limit on my website getting docked every time they view their own profile. So if a user views their own profile so many times (while viewing the changes they make) they cap themselves on their own profile and have to wait to view anyone else. It still lets them view themselves but no one else until the time is up.

I want it to only count as a profile view if the user views a profile that is not their own.

ex: A user is editing their profile and checks it every time he makes a change until he has 10 views on his own profile and can no longer view any other user.
