Visitors cannot view blog module block

Inside the blog block, non members see "access denied". I've looked under membership settings AND the blog settings, but cannot see how to allow visitors/non members to view blogs. Can someone lead me in the right direction?

I guess you misunderstood, I'm talking about the block itself on the homepage, like the image below

Yes, I have that checked, that's what I dont understand. If it was set that visitors couldn't view, the block itself wouldn't even show. The block is showing, but there's nothing inside it. It's the only module that is doing this, and I can't find where to change it. Frustrating.

Hum...run out of ideas also....strange though, that "access denied" is usually associated with membership authorizations...

Admin -> Settings -> Membership Levels

Edit the Non-member level

Make sure the following actions are enabled.

blog post search
blog post view
blog view
blogs browse
blogs posts browse

The last one, blogs posts browse if disabled will cause the access denied message in the block.
