The web site is currently suffering from a DDoS attack, which is causing several issues, from slow connection speeds, to interruptions in service. This should be fully resolved within a few days, if not sooner.

Your purchase will not be lost due to this, just have a little patience. BoonEx has alerted us to this issue via that blog post. Apologies if you were expecting some other form of contact when their servers are being brought down by a malicious third party.

cbassthefish posted something that seemed to imply that I am responsible for the troubles here.  Does anyone know why he would say something like that?  I have been involved in other projects and have not been able to access because of the DoS attacks.  He made a strange, crytic statement that I really don't understand.

OGOD OGO. Get a grip. This is not Boonex's doing and you need to relax a bit....

No, he implied that you were late to make one of your famous comments. No need to get paranoid. Tongue out

I probably was paranoid.  Apologies to cbassthefish.  It was late and I was tired and frustrated from trying to get through, and there was something about his comment that made me think I was a suspect in the DoS attack, though people who know me would know that I am hardly capable of something like that - I can hardly manage my own computer.  His comment was completely innocent and had to do with our mutual dislike of "non-upgradable betas" - though they piss me off less now then when we were constantly hearing that D7 was "just a few weeks off".  I got a brief note from Andrew last night saying he thought this would be fixed in a day or so - I probably won't be back until it is.

I can't get into my administration panel anymore. Is this as a result of the ddos attack ?

I am having the same issue. my admin panel keeps loading and wont open

Quote · 7 Jun 2010

I have been having the same problem. A temp fix for me is to go to www.yoursite.com/administration/admin_tools.php.

You can't get into clean your cache but it will let you into the admin panel

hope that helps.

Can someone explain to me, how if boonex is having problems, that it affect our admin panels, I dont understand how that works?

This sentance says nothing, and its possibly spellt wrong.

I have tree sites where I not can into the admin center, its give problems with memory , but my other 4 sites have no problems all on the same server.
Also some of my clients have this problems. This was happening this morning. Yesterday I had no problems.

I too started freaking out when I couldn't get into the admin panel on all of my D7.x sites.  Like the other poster said you just have to bypass the index.php when going into the admin tools.

Must have something to do with the connection that D7 admin page has with Boonex servers.  (License checking, retrieving of stats, etc...)

Sure is a PITA.

Your admin area is sitting there waiting for boonex news to load from boonex.com   This same problem has been discussed many times in the past.

Admin --> Advanced Settings --> Other --> Show boonex news in admin panel:

Enter 0 in this field and save.

Simple fix for admin login problems.... go to http://www.yoursite.com/administration/index.php?cat=settings choose Advanced Settings->Other and change the show Boonex news setting from 1 to 0 and save.  You will then be able to get into your admin panel normally again.

It's amazing what you can figure out in a time of need. I found my own unique way into the admin screen. Just click on the edit link for one of your news stories.

Anything less than 1 will work.  If anyone would like to enter -32768 in this field, that will work as well.

I should also add that, it might be helpful, to log into your site as admin on the user side, then go directly to yoursite,com/administration/advanced_settings.php  to make the change.

There was also a problem with the licenses for "Flash apps"
Following the problems boonex, licenses should be put back in the flash module apps. The problem is that it seemed impossible and very long, several attempts to finally get there.
Then, if tomorrow boonex is again unavailable for a long period, we have again the same problems?

Andrew has told us that for Dolphin 7.0.2, such call-backs will be removed, so as a situation like this one does not happen again. Until then, though, yes, this issue will happen again if the server goes down.
