I agree.. don't throw out the windows user base as it is a very large market... judging by awstats on my website.. over 80% of all traffic is with internet explorer meaning they are all using windows and have a potential market with them as such.. linux and windows are below windows visits by a very large percentage.. but none the less are there with including firefox and beos etc...
I am sure conversion of code shouldn't be hard if it's in c or c+ or even c++ for linux.. just a few simple tweeks here and there and a few routine calls and parameters changed to get it working.. you can leave the testing up to your already established windows server market for dolphin 7.. I am sure us WINDOWS users would love to test out dolphins RMS features as much as the linux users almost flu pansies out their butts when their beta RMS came out.. heheheh...
not that i dis linux... i know it's secure.. but most of us windows servers have spent thousands on software to keep our systems operational and secure and none of us would throw away such an investment for linux (only to relearn and start over from scratch, minus the d7 and rms code that's already made)
I think I speak for the entire windows community on this issue.....
Hope we can do some rms testing soon as well..
cheerz.. MaX
