Wall Video Sounds

Does anyone know if there is a way that the files that get added to the wall for example videos, embeds, sounds, etc  - If there a way we can create a preview size not the full size as it is now.  As much as i hate to compare to Facebook, that is the idea...  See Picture 1 - Dolphin and Picture 2 - Facebook.

Anybody have any ideas on this one?  What are others opinions on this...  Should it be thumbnail size preview or the full size as it is?

Anton developed the wall modifications to show on index page, I think he will manage to do this too.

yeah same with videos and links.  I like how people post a youtube link on facebook wall and it automatically adds a small video to watch.  If someone can make a mod for this, I will def buy it!  :D

I'm really desperate for this one.  Anyone care to make a mod for this? :D  The reason is I want my members to use youtube url to post on a wall instead of uploading a video.  I'm trying to save room on my server as much as i can.  ;)  When I use post a link on facebook wall, it automatically adds a video there. I'd like to have that on my site.

Edit:  I know 7.1 has something like this but i can't wait that long.  :(

Can I just thank everyone for their input on this, but also bring it back to the original request of reducing the size of the wall posts, videos and sounds etc..  Or a thumbnail version of the file that when clicked on would go to the original file location.  Anyone have any ideas?  Maybe a CSS thing???

I just want to say that I am waiting to see a mod for this as well. This would be much needed!
