Can anyone help me with this.  I keep getting this error when I get to permissions.

seems i recall this from days ago, and this is something to do with a root path or something. where are you hosting this at? because that path seems oddly familiar

I am willing to bet it's a godaddy server.

In many cases on godaddy servers, RewriteBase / has to be added to the .htaccess file.

godaddy is not really the best choice to run dolphin on. Sometimes requires quite a bit of work to get it to run right.
