Weight is limited to 254.

I am going insane with this, I set the weight limit to nothing, then for some reason the system sets it to 254.  I have deleted and set up weight again, and EVERYTIME it limits the weight to 254.  This causes a problem as some members will be over that weight and we don't want to be accused of fat shaming people.  Please help.

By default, the weight field is a selector that allows you to choose between several body types using the BodyType predefined list.

It does not use a actual weight in lbs. The selector is normally preferred over entering a actual weight as most people don't like to tell others how much they weigh.

So it seems you have changed that from it's normal default. So what field type are you using?

Describe how your creating this weight item so we can try and duplicate what you are doing so we can determine why.

Very true I will use a dropdown with ranges instead of actual weights.  Thanks.
