What are Leaders?

Sorry for such a stupid question: But what does the term "Leaders" refer to? Group Leaders? Most active Members?

I believe that works off "votes". Like a member has to have 2 or more to be displayed in the leader board.

Although I could be completely wrong..

The intent is for leaders to be calculated by votes, but we have yet to get a logical explanation from Boonex as to exactly how the calculation is done.  LeonidS made the statement that votes are restricted by IP, which won't work, because many people  access the internet through a proxy server, and will have the same IP address.

Thanks to you both, that's a start ;) So there's no need for action, I'll watch what will happen...
