What does this mean?

Hi I am evaluating Dolphin  to use as a members area for my project. I added a HTML block to the index page and removed the side column and other blocks on the page as I wanted to replicate my site. in doing so I received a message Thus: - Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/bulletpr/public_html/portal/inc/classes/BxDolPageViewAdmin.php:324) in/home/bulletpr/public_html/portal/inc/admin_design.inc.php on line 56

What have I done wrong? the page opens fine and looks to be how I had intended, however, I am concerned as to wether the site will function fine of should I buy a full licence before modifying to this extent?

Any help would be appreciated thanks

Paul

I wouldnt say to ignore it. Normally that error happens because there is whitespace at the end of the php file after the closing ?>

I would open the BxDolPageViewAdmin.php file in a text editor and see if there is any whitespace after the closing ?>  <--- at the bottom of the page

If so, then delete the whitespace and re-upload the file. MAKE A BACKUP FIRST..  just in case

Nothing to see here

this is also sporadic in appearance due to cache. if there is a CRLF (extra line after the closing php tag) this typically shows up. if your cache is on, then that would cache, then if you fix that CRLF, and have not cleared  your cache, then the system is reading from the cache, and the CRLF is included in the cached files.

you should always make certain of your editor, and make sure its not adding extra lines or characters UTF-8 is the correct format.
