What dose this do?

Can someone tell me what this is for?

admin>Advanced Settings>Profiles

Timeout before displaying profile info(in seconds):

If you ask me ill say it's useless,
1.even when set to 1 sec.. it takes time to load (should be instant)
2. and every time you have to click that little minus (-) to close it it's very annoying (shold auto hide)

maybe it should be renamed to "Timeout before displaying the annoying popup box"

I'm on board with that! You want to have some fun? Set it to 0, then run your mouse around on the 'people' page and watch what happens....

Thank you for explaining that Prolaznik.  And yes I agree with you, It should auto hide.
